Refunds policy
Sing and Sign @home - This course is non-refundable. Once booked, the sale is final for the ten weeks of term.
Please watch this video before booking:

Sing and Sign Babes - If you withdraw from classes before the term has started, I will retain a £5.00 administration fee and refund you the term's fee. If you withdraw after the first class I retain a £5 admin fee and refund the terms' fee minus the class you have attended. After the second session the course is non-refundable.

Stage 1 or Stage 2 in-person course:
If you withdraw from classes before you have received your passwords and access codes and before the term has started, I will refund you minus a £5.00 administration fee.
If you withdraw from the course after the first live session, I would refund you the in-person portion of the course fee minus a £10 admin fee, which would be £40. You would therefore retain access to the Class@Home course.

If I have to cancel a class you are invited to use our online offering.
If we are prevented from running classes for any reason. These may include my illness, pandemic, severe weather, venue inaccessibility, public health enforcement which would pose a risk to your and our teachers and parents, you can enjoy our online offering instead (@Home for Stages 1 and 2). And/or the Zoom class (or classes) scheduled. Babes may also join the weekday zoom options. If this were to happen more than twice in a term, refunds will be issued for the venue portion of the term/class fee (£5 a session).

Changing your course day
If you are unable to attend your booked course on a regular basis, please talk to me about it. I try to be as accommodating as possible. It may be possible for you to transfer to a different class if there is space, but we have fixed numbers to adhere to.

Social distancing of children in class
We hope your baby will enjoy the class and be thoroughly engaged with the teacher and enjoy the presence of other children. We usually encourage babies to crawl or walk about and interact with others but this may change and fit with current Government guidance. If you expect minimal interaction with other babies, then we suggest you do not attend the in-person course and choose the Class@Home only package.

We remain GDPR compliant.

Should I bring my baby if he/she is ill?
If they just have a cough or cold it is fine to bring them in. These germs are good to share as it boosts their immune system! If your child has anything contagious including hand foot & mouth, impetigo, conjunctivitis or other classic childhood diseases, then please keep them out of class. Do not bring your baby with a raised temperature as this may be a sign of something as yet unknown.  With any vomiting or diarrhoea bug please keep your baby away from class for 48 hours after symptoms have stopped.

Can I carry over money from missed classes to the next term?
Sorry, you can’t do this. There is a lot of repetition from week to week as well as the online membership resources and Class@Home course, so if you miss a week for any reason, you’ll be able to catch up.  There may be scope to attend a different venue in the same week. Up to a max of 2 per term, per person, depending on space availability. Please ask.

Can I bring a friend and their baby to class as a trial?
Please do not bring friends along to class unannounced. It MAY be possible to accommodate a friend and their baby if there are still spare places in the class.  They would pay £10 for a Stage 1 or 2 session or £8 for Babes. We welcome other family members as visitors in classes, Grandparents, partners etc. But please check with me before you bring them with you.

Older siblings
If your baby's sibling is 3 years or older, you may bring him/her to class on special occasions to Stage 1 or 2 classes but not to a Babes session.
Please note that they remain your responsibility at all times and parents must be alert to their children’s behaviour and safety, especially in terms of the younger babies.
If you are regularly bringing someone else’s baby or are a child-minder bringing more than one child (who are not siblings) they will need to pay for each place.

Children’s behaviour in class
I hope your baby will enjoy class and be thoroughly engaged with the teacher and the other children. We encourage babies to crawl or walk about and interact, they are not required to sit still. Problems with behaviour are very rare, but of course can happen occasionally. If a baby grabs, hits, bites, pushes over or throws toys the parent should intervene and tell the baby not to do the behaviour. We understand that babies are not doing this behaviour to be nasty or unkind. They are simply seeing what will happen and learning.  This is why the baby should be shown in a kind but firm way that we do not accept this behaviour in class. It may be necessary to remove your child
from the class circle to avoid further disruption and in very exceptional circumstances a refund may be offered for the remainder of term at the teacher's discretion.

Complaints procedure
I really hope that you will be delighted with your experience of Sing and Sign. I am absolutely committed to you finding that your class meets or exceeds your expectations and that you enjoy your classes enough to recommend Sing and Sign to all of your friends!

However, if there is anything you are not happy with, I would like to hear about it. Please do get in touch if you have a complaint or concern (or compliment!). I will always do my best to resolve any problems as quickly as possible and to everyone’s satisfaction. If there is any aspect of the course/classes that you are unsure about, please ask!
